Contact Franklin County Jail, WVRJ, VADOC, the relevant court, BOP, ICE, or another source before traveling to a facility, relying on a release status, sending money, or acting on a record. A current-custody miss is not proof of community release.

This site does not host a jail roster, release record, inmate record, court file, parole decision archive, or official custody database. It points visitors toward the offices and locators that maintain those materials. To confirm custody or obtain a certified or official record, request it from the Franklin County Sheriff, WVRJ, VADOC, the issuing court, or the applicable federal source.
Because Franklin County Jail and WVRJ are separate custodians, a request must go to the facility that created the booking or release entry. A state prison record belongs with VADOC. BOP and ICE use separate federal systems. The source office decides what exists and what may lawfully be disclosed.
